Why Customers Choose My Baker for Eid Cake Delivery
My Baker fulfils London Eid cake orders from its flagship bakery in Hendon, North West London, using halal-aware processes. Beyond London, and occasionally within it, we work with a carefully selected network of vetted, trusted local baking partners who extend halal Eid cake delivery across many parts of the UK. Every Eid cake is made fresh to order and never frozen. Our halal-aware bakers exclude alcohol, animal gelatine, carmine, and shellac at every stage of the recipe, using plant-based alternatives for colouring and glazing. With more than 23,000 cakes delivered, Eid is one of the occasions we know best.
How to Choose the Right Eid Cake — A Buying Guide
Halal Preparation: What It Means Here
A halal cake from My Baker is made without alcohol, animal gelatine (plant-based gelling agents are used instead), carmine (a red food colouring derived from insects, replaced with plant-based alternatives), and shellac (a glaze sometimes used on decorations, replaced with plant-based varnish). You must tick the Halal box on the product page for every order; the collection features cakes that can be made to halal standards, but the selection is not applied automatically.
Designs for Eid
Eid cake designs in this collection typically feature crescent moon and star motifs, Arabic lettering, gold and jewel-tone colour schemes, and rich celebration finishes suited to the occasion. Floral designs in gold, green, and white are also popular. Browse the collection on our website to see what is available for the current season.
Flavours
All six My Baker signature flavours are available in the Eid range (chocolate, vanilla, Victoria Sponge, red velvet, lemon, and salted caramel are all available). For Eid gatherings where multiple guests have different preferences, cupcake sets in mixed flavours are a practical option. Pistachio and Biscoff are also available on many Eid designs.
Sizing and Servings
A 6-inch round cake serves 8 to 16 people. An 8-inch serves 12 to 28, and a 10-inch serves 20 to 42. Eid gatherings often bring extended family together; size up if you are not sure how many will be present. For large multi-family celebrations, call us on 020 3239 4399 and we can discuss quantities.
Lead Times and the 3pm Cut-Off
Most Eid cakes on our website can be delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Next-day delivery is generally available when baker capacity allows; order by 3pm to qualify. Next-day orders carry a £10 delivery premium. During Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, demand increases significantly; ordering at least a week ahead is recommended. For a fully custom Eid design, submit your brief via Design My Cake at least a week ahead.
Frequently Asked Questions About Eid Cake Delivery
Can I get an Eid cake delivered the next day in London and other parts of the UK?
Yes. Next-day Eid cake delivery is available across most London postcodes and many wider UK postcodes for orders placed on our website before 3pm. Place your order and we will handle the rest. During Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, capacity fills faster than usual; call us on 020 3239 4399 to confirm availability if you are ordering close to the date.
What makes a cake halal?
A halal cake is made without alcohol, animal gelatine, carmine, and shellac. Our halal-aware bakers use plant-based alternatives at every stage: plant-based gelling agents instead of gelatine, plant-based food colouring instead of carmine, and plant-based glazing instead of shellac. No alcohol touches the recipe at any point. You must tick the Halal box on the product page for every order; selecting a cake from this collection does not apply halal preparation automatically.
Do you deliver for both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha?
Yes. The Eid collection is used for both occasions. The cakes are the same; the celebration is what changes. We recommend ordering at least a week ahead for both dates, as demand increases significantly around both Eids. If you are planning a large order for a family gathering or community event, call us on 020 3239 4399.
Can an Eid cake also be made without dairy, without gluten, or vegan?
Yes. Many Eid cakes can be made vegan, made without dairy, made without gluten, or made without eggs, in addition to being prepared to halal standards. Select all of your requirements on the product page from the choices available. Each order arrives with a full allergen card detailing every ingredient used.
Can I personalise an Eid cake with an Arabic message or name?
Yes, in most cases. Leave your message (including any Arabic text) in the cart notes when you order, and our bakers will do their best to incorporate it. For Arabic calligraphy or more intricate lettering, submit your brief via Design My Cake at least a week ahead so we can confirm what is achievable.
