In the UK, we are lucky enough to welcome people from all over the world, whether that’s for studies, work, or settling permanently and starting a new life here.

That’s fantastic, but it does lead to families living apart, which we know can be a huge emotional strain. Whilst it won’t replace being face to face and a nice hug, sending a cake with a personal message is a special way of saying “I love you, I miss you, I’m thinking of you on your special day.”

That’s why we’re proud that a large proportion of our sales come from overseas.

Where we get orders from

In particular, we get a lot of orders from the USA, China, the Middle East, India, Pakistan, and Australia, for friends and relatives here in the United Kingdom, whether in London, or the rest of the United Kingdom.

And the process is simple.  You go to our collections, choose the cake you want, choose the date, add a message and proceed to checkout.

Some common orders we see are:

1.     1. Companies in the USA sending cake to colleagues in the UK;

      2. Parents from China sending a birthday cake to their children at school or university in London;

3.      3. Family in India sending a cake to relatives in Manchester;

4.      4. People from the Middle East sending cakes to friends in London.  

Introducing new languages to our website

As well as our core English language pages, we’ve translated our website into Spanish and Arabic, and we’ll soon be introducing Chinese, Hindi and Urdu. If you think there are other languages we should add, let us know!

This is being done with a view to making the process of ordering a cake to an address in the UK as straightforward for our friends overseas as possible.

With over 140 bakeries nationwide, we can deliver a stunning cake, at short notice if necessary, to friends, colleagues or family. We can even deliver next day if you order before 6pm and are happy to pay a £10 premium.  More notice is great though if you can give it, as every cake is freshly baked to your specific order.

The cake is made and delivered freshly to the customer’s door.
