3. How soon can I get my wedding cake delivered?
Where other bakers can require months or even a year’s notice, My Baker specialises in quick delivery. Depending on your location, we can often deliver your cake within a few days of placing your order. If you aren’t sure, call us on 020 3239 4399, and we can confirm whether we can deliver to your venue on the appropriate date.
4. Is there a minimum order time required before my wedding date?
No minimum order time is required. You can select and order your cake as close to your wedding date as needed, making it a perfect solution for last-minute plans. For your own peace of mind however, as well as to help us with planning, we would recommend that you place your order at least seven days in advance.
5. Can I customise the wedding cakes available on My Baker?
Our service focuses on convenience and speed, but we do allow some customisation at no extra cost. For example, a change of colour of flowers or icing is normally free, and can be achieved by leaving us a note, after placing the cake in your cart, and prior to checkout.
6. What sizes of wedding cakes are available?
We provide several cake size options to accommodate different numbers of guests. You can select the size that best fits your wedding party from the options available on our site. The number of servings is indicated on the product page for each size of cake.
7. How are the cakes delivered to ensure they arrive in perfect condition?
Our cakes are carefully packaged and transported to ensure they arrive fresh and in perfect condition. They are delivered either by the bakers themselves or a specialist cake courier. We take every precaution to make sure your cake looks as beautiful as it tastes. And if the cake is of the type that requires on site set-up (e.g. four tier cakes), that’s all part of the service.

Since every wedding cake is important, bespoke wedding cakes require us to quote and liaise with you thoroughly, to ensure we get everything just right. Therefore, there is a premium when compared to buying a wedding cake from our online collection. The final cost depends on the complexity of the design, size, and any special ingredients or decorations you choose.
11. How far in advance should I request a bespoke wedding cake?
We recommend making your bespoke wedding cake request at least 3 months in advance. This ensures ample time for consultations, design development, and any necessary revisions to achieve the perfect cake for your big day.
12. Do you accommodate specific dietary requirements for bespoke cakes?
Yes, we can accommodate a variety of dietary requirements, including halal, vegan and “made without” options. Be sure to mention any specific needs during your consultation so we can tailor the cake accordingly. Please note that due to the baking environment, whilst we can exclude ingredients from a cake and every care will be taken, it is not possible to eliminate the risk of traces of allergens which are used in our kitchens.
