Each anniversary milestone has a traditional material associated with it, and our bakers can reflect those themes in the design. A 25th (Silver) anniversary cake typically uses silver lustre dust or metallic buttercream. A 50th (Golden) anniversary is suited to gold leaf or gold foil decoration. A Ruby (40th) anniversary works with deep red buttercream or a red velvet sponge. For any other milestone, leave the year and any colour or theme preferences in the cart notes and our bakers will work with them.
Flavours
All six My Baker signature flavours are available in the anniversary range (chocolate, vanilla, Victoria Sponge, red velvet, lemon, and salted caramel are all available). Victoria Sponge and lemon are particularly popular for anniversary cakes, especially for older milestone years where the recipient prefers a lighter sponge. For a couple with different preferences, a number cake with two separate flavour sections is a good solution.
Sizing and Servings
A 6-inch round cake serves 8 to 16 people. An 8-inch serves 12 to 28, and a 10-inch serves 20 to 42. An anniversary is sometimes a private occasion for two; some designs in this collection are available in smaller formats. Personalisation
Every anniversary cake in this collection can carry a personalised message (names, a date, the number of years, or a short note). Milestone numbers can be added in fondant, edible print, or piped buttercream. Colour changes are available at no extra cost; leave your preference in the cart notes. Most anniversary cakes on our website can be delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Next-day delivery is generally available when baker capacity allows; order by 3pm to qualify.
