The add-ons collection holds everything that goes alongside a cake rather than on top of it as part of the baked design. These are physical accessories: candles, sparklers, balloon toppers, macaron sets, ribbon and bow decorations, and other finishing touches. They are not baked into the cake; they arrive packaged separately and are intended to be placed on or around the cake at the time of serving.

Candles and Sparklers
Birthday candles and number sparklers are the most frequently added accessories in this collection. Standard birthday candles are available in a range of colours. Number sparklers (which spell out an age or year in sparkler form) are popular for milestone birthdays and anniversaries; they are placed in the buttercream immediately before serving and lit for the moment. Keep sparklers away from children and ensure the cake is on a heat-safe surface before lighting.
Balloon Toppers
Balloon toppers are pre-inflated or flat-pack balloon arrangements designed to be inserted into the top of the cake on arrival. They add height and visual impact to any celebration cake. Number balloons, letter balloons, and themed designs are available depending on what is currently in the collection. Check the product page for what is live at the time of ordering.
Macarons
Macaron sets are available as a standalone add-on or as a topping for cakes ordered elsewhere in the range. They are packaged separately to protect the shells during delivery. If you want macarons placed directly on top of your cake as part of the decoration, note this in the cart when ordering your cake and we will arrange placement; do not add them as a separate add-on in that case.
Ordering Add-Ons
Add-ons are delivered with your cake order in the same drop. They cannot be ordered as standalone deliveries without a cake. Add your chosen accessories to the cart alongside your cake and they will arrive together. No. Add-ons in this collection are intended to be delivered alongside a cake order. They cannot be dispatched as a standalone delivery. Add them to your cart at the same time as your cake.
Can I request a specific candle colour or balloon colour?
Available colours are listed on each product page. If you have a specific colour in mind that is not shown, leave a note in the cart and we will do our best to accommodate. Will the add-ons arrive with the cake in the same delivery?
Yes. All add-ons ordered alongside a cake are packaged and delivered in the same drop. They are packed separately within the delivery to protect both the cake finish and the accessories during transit.
Can I add a macaron topping directly to my cake rather than receiving them separately?
Yes. If you want macarons placed on the cake as part of the decoration rather than packaged separately, note this in the cart when ordering your cake. Do not add the macaron set as a separate add-on in that case; our bakers will arrange placement as part of the cake finish.
Are number sparklers safe to use indoors?
Number sparklers produce a small spark shower for a short duration. They are designed for indoor use in a ventilated space and should be placed in the buttercream on a heat-safe surface before lighting. Keep children at a safe distance during lighting. Follow the instructions included with each sparkler set.
