1. How far in advance should I order a Baby Shower cake?
As with all of our cakes, we can move very quickly if we need to, even offering next day delivery (for a £10 premium). However, to avoid disappointment, we would encourage you to place your order at least five days before it is required.
2. Can I customise the design of my Baby Shower cake?
We can accommodate simple changes such as colour changes at no extra cost. Simply request these changes in the notes space in your cart, and you can also add a range of decorations and extras at the cart stage. You can also include special details like a baby’s name, or in some cases have a gender reveal pink or blue sponge.
3. What size cake should I order for my Baby Shower?
The size of your cake depends on the number of guests. We offer various sizes to accommodate small gatherings or larger celebrations. Serving sizes are indicated on the product page.
4. Do you offer gender reveal cakes?
Yes, many of our baby shower cakes are gender reveal cakes with coloured sponge layers or hidden icing fillings that reveal the baby’s gender when sliced. Just let us know your preference when placing your order.
5. Are there options for dietary restrictions, such as made without gluten or vegan Baby Shower cakes?
Yes, My Baker offers ‘made without’ options to ensure that all your guests can enjoy the cake. This includes made without gluten, eggs, dairy and nuts, as well as vegan and Halal options also. Simply tick the appropriate box on the product page.
Please note that due to the baking environment, there is always a risk of traces of allergens, and therefore our cakes are not suitable for those with severe allergies.
6. Can I have a cake topper or other decorations added to my Baby Shower cake?
Absolutely! We can add custom cake toppers, edible decorations such as macarons, or other embellishments to your Baby Shower cake.
