Ever wanted to learn how to beautifully decorate a cake? Our cake artist, Sandra specialises in fondant cakes and is offering one day courses to teach students the fundamentals in cake decorating.
This all-day 8 hour class is an introduction to fondant decorated cakes and will cover skills required to level and fill cakes, as well as preparing the cakes for fondant covering. The class will also demonstrate different techniques used for decorating and finishing fondant cakes with a profesional look. These techniques are the fundamental building blocks for successful cake decorating. All techniques can be applied to any birthday or wedding cake. Students will trim, fill and cover their own cake, as well as finish it with decorations to take home and enjoy.
All ingredients and equipment (including recipes) are included. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will also be provided during the workshop. Lunch will not be provided. This kitchen handles gluten, dairy and other allergens. If you have allergies, please let us know in advance.
