Learn how to create beautiful iced biscuits with our biscuit specialist, Sandra. Sandra has been baking and decorating biscuits for many years and has baked thousands of biscuits for customers and businesses.
In this hands on 8 hours workshop, students will learn how to prepare royal icing for flooding biscuits in dimensional designs. The class will include a demonstration by Sandra on how to prepare the royal icing and how to achieve the correct consistencies for each technique. Students will also learn how to use the transfer technique, learn different pressure piping techniques to create designs with different textures. You will learn about hand-painting and colour gradients to achieve beautiful and colourful designs. Students will also be guided personally on how to decorate at least 3 biscuits themselves to take home.
The selection of cookie designs will be chosen to maximise the number of techniques involved.
All ingredients and equipment will be supplied. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will also be provided. Lunch will not be provided. This kitchen handles gluten, dairy and other allergens. If you have allergies, please let us know in advance.
